Last weekend our ward threw a lua for the adults as a date night. You've heard the saying "everything's bigger in Texas." Well that couldn't have been more true when it came to this party. They had a cooked pig, authentic polynesian dishes, amazing decorations, a real Hawaiian band, and hula dancers. We had so much fun just enjoying the entertainment. We also had fun getting all dressed up in our best Hawaiian gear. When dinner was over, we went outside to watch the fire dancer do his thing. He was entertaining to watch, and a little more daring than I had expected. At the end everyone started screaming and clapping for the great performance, and it scared Brayden to death. He started screaming at the top of his lungs. Other than this sudden outburst, it was a fun evening.
