Easter & Then Some

When it came to celebrating Easter at our home this year, there wasn't much going on. The reason being that on Easter eve we ended up at the hospital and didn't return home until early the next morning. Brayden had been sick all week, and it ended up getting worse towards the weekend. After 24 hours without being able to get rid of his fever, I got out the thermometer to check out how bad it was. With a 105 temp we decided to take him to the hospital. He had been throwing up and was extremely dehydrated. He was given medicine, and put on an IV that took hours to drip. Luckily he started doing much better and we were finally able to go home. Needless to say Easter was spent resting. However, the next weekend we made up for it by celebrating with the Weavers who were blessing Austin. We hung out with friends, played games, went to a BBQ and got all dressed up for family pictures. Easter may not have been much of an event, but we feel that we made up for it.
